\nwith a proven track record to fi ll the following position in our Bank
\nKey Responsibilities
\nQ Appropriately plan and effectively perform audits, investigations and other
\nassignments in all areas of the Bank, including branches.
\nQ Understand the concepts of risk based auditing and be conversant of the
\noperational risks prevailing in the banking industry.
\nQ Effectively manage audit team monitoring progress of the audit, ensuring
\ndeadlines are met, audit scope is adequately covered and adhering to audit
\nprocesses.
\nQ Finalize audits and investigations independently including drafting of audit
\nreports.
\nQ Actively participate in systems, product and process developments and other
\ntasks or projects as directed by the Chief Internal Auditor.
\nEligibility Criteria
\nQ Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL)\/Association
\nof Chartered Certifi ed Accountants (ACCA)\/ Certifi ed Management Accountants
\n(CMA)\/Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in UK(CIMA).
\n and
\nQ A Degree in Finance\/Accountancy\/Commerce\/Business Administration\/
\nManagement\/Economics from a recognized University.
\nQ Full professional qualifi cations in Banking will be an added advantage.
\nQ 05 years\u2019 audit experience as a Manager \/ Assistant Manager capacity in
\nFinancial Services Sector.
\nQ IT based auditing experience will be an added qualifi cation.
\nQ A comprehensive knowledge on application of Accounting and Financial
\nReporting Standards, CBSL directions and guidelines and other compliance
\nand regulatory requirements.
\nQ Possess sound knowledge of corporate governance practice in a fi nancial
\ninstitution.
\nQ Excellent analytical, interpretation and writing skills.
\nAge Limit : Preferably below 45 years
