The Colombo Young Men\u2019s Buddhist Association, the leading Buddhist
\norganization in Sri Lanka is seeking for a dynamic, self-motivated and high
\nperforming individual with proven leadership skills, communication skills,
\nmanagement skills, and problem-solving skills, supervisory and team leading
\nskills to take over the responsibilities of the position of Deputy General
\nManager.
\nThe Deputy General Manager (DGM) is overseeing the organization\u2019s
\noperations, ensuring the facilities are well maintained, analyzing and
\nimplementing policies and procedures, ensure compliance with organization\u2019s
\nrules, regulations, principles, and internal control systems, undertaking
\nbudgetary responsibilities,overseeing short-term and long-term business plans
\nand projects, support maintaining the cash flow, hiring, training, and evaluating
\nstaff, solving internal and external grievances,presenting reports to the GM
\nand Board of Management, and assuming the GM\u2019s duties in his absence.
\nDGM is also required to ensure that the operations and services comply with
\nthe policies and strategic direction set by the Board of Management, and all
\napplicable laws and regulations.
\nRequired Skills, Qualifications & Work Experience:
\n\u2022 A degree in Management or similar field
\n\u2022 15 years of work experience in management field or in a related area
\n\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Sinhala
\nlanguages
\n\u2022 Result driven, organized individual with a high sense of integrity is
\npreferred
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
\n\u2022 Computer literate and fluency in Microsoft applications
\n\u2022 Excellent administration and people management skills
\n\u2022 Ability to work after office hours and on weekends when required
\n\u2022 Ability to travel out of Colombo on a regular basis
\nRemuneration : Negotiable.
