\nApplications are invited from qualified applicants for the following posts
\nat fully government owned Lanka Mineral Sands Limited.
\nManagerial Service Category (MM 1-1)
\nStation where the vacancy exists – Pulmoddai Plant –
\n (No. of Vacancies – 01)
\nExternal Applicants
\nShould have obtained one of the following qualifications:
\n1) Educational Qualifications \/ Professional Qualifications
\n Should have obtained a degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
\nfrom a university recognized by the University Grants
\nCommission
\n And
\n One (01) year experience in the relevant subject field at a
\nmanagerial level post in government department \/ corporation \/
\nstatutory board or reputed institution after obtaining the degree.
\n2) Should have obtained a Proficiency Certificate of not less than
\nNVQ Level 07 issued by a Technical \/ Vocational Training
\nInstitute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education
\nCommission in Mechanical activities
\n And
\n One (01) year experience in the relevant subject field at a
\nmanagerial level post in government department \/ corporation \/
\nstatutory board or reputed institution after obtaining the
\nqualification.
\nInternal Applicants
\nShould have obtained one of the following qualifications:
\n1) Should have fulfilled the qualifications for external applicants
\nmentioned above.
\n2) Should have completed a satisfactory service period of at least
\n05 years in the relevant subject field in Junior Management (JM
\n1-2) Service Category
\n Salary Code No. and Monthly Salary Scale relevant to
\nMM-1-1 Service Category
\n As per the Management Service Circular No. 02\/2016
\n Salary Code No. MM-1-1, Rs. 53,175\/- = 1,375×10 \u2013 1,910×15
\n= 95,575\/-
\nSalary will be paid placed at the initial salary step of Rs. 53,175\/-
\n Age limit – Should be not less than 22 years and not more than
\n45 years. Maximum age limit will not be applicable to internal
\napplicants.
\n Salary step to be placed when internal applicants are recruited
\nto the post will be decided as per the provisions in Chapter VII
\nof the Establishment Code.
\nApplicants employed in government service\/corporations\/Statutory
\nBoards and State institutions should forward their applications
\nthrough the Heads of relevant departments \/ Institutions.
