\nAssociation
\n(Incorporated under the Public Service Mutual Provident
\nAssociations Ordinance No. 5 of 1891)
\nApplications will be received from Sri Lankan citizens for the Posts of Joint Secretary and
\nTreasurer – falling vacant soon and Assistant Secretary and Management Assistant Class
\nIII posts existing vacant at this Association
\n.Post of Assistant Secretary
\nShould be a member of the Association and be an Officer either in the Management
\nAssistant Service or an equivalent service in Class 1 or a Higher Grade.
\nExperience :
\n Should have experience in Accounts work and establishment and administrative
\nmatters and have proficiency in Sinhala and English Languages. Having knowledge
\nin Tamil Language will be an added qualification.
\nSalaries and other benefits :
\nApplicants selected for these posts will be entitled to a salary equivalent to the Government
\nsalary scale with an additional allowance of 50% of the monthly consolidated salary,
\nother Government approved allowances entitled to the permanent post, annual bonus
\nand payments in lieu of remaining unclaimed leave as decided upon at the Annual
\nGeneral Meeting of the Association. Also will be entitled to sponsored Season Tickets and
\nRailway Warrants.
\nConditions :
\nApplications will be received from Officers in either the State Service or Provincial Public
\nService for the above posts and recruitments will be done on secondment basis as per the
\nrequirements of the Government, for a period of two years in terms of the Section 148 in
\nPara 12 of the Procedural Rules.
\nAs this Institution is an incorporated one which functions under the supervision of the
\nMinistry of Finance, you can submit your application by the Appendix II of the Public
\nService Commission Procedural Rules Code.
\nA certification from the Head of Department agreeing to release the applicant for a period
\nof two years for the Association’s Service on secondment basis as per the Public Service
\nCommission Procedural Rules and the Provisions of the Establishment Code of the
\nDemocratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
\nSelected applicant should place an amount as a security with the Association as decided
\nupon by the Management Committee of the Association.
