\nCHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
\n(Grade A-1)
\n(Permanent Basis)
\nQualifi cations required
\nOne of the following academic\/professional qualifi cations with the experience mentioned below:
\n1. Degree in Computer Science from a recognized University and a Membership of a
\nrecognized IT professional body
\nWith
\n 12 years post degree experience in the fi eld of Information and Communication Technology
\n(ICT) of which 6 years should be at Senior Management Level
\nOr
\n2. Degree in Engineering\/Science from a recognized University and a Master\u2019s Degree in
\nInformation Technology from a recognized Institute
\nWith
\n 14 years post degree experience in the ICT fi eld of which 7 years at Senior Management
\nLevel
\nAnd
\n Extensive experience in ERP systems and knowledge of ERP systems upgrade projects,
\nExcellent organizational and leadership skills, Project Management skills,IT Service
\nManagement, IT Infrastructure Management and sound knowledge in top technologies
\nsuch as Mobile Technology, Cloud Computing, Legacy System Management, CRM, BI and
\nInformation Security, will be required.
\nAge Limit: Less than 45 Years.
\nPlease Note:
\nThis age limit is not applicable for the employees who are presently in the service of Government
\nMinistries \/ Departments \/ Statutory Bodies \/ fully owned Government Companies. They
\nshould submit their applications through their Heads of Departments.
\nScope of Work:
\nTo be responsible for the administration & maintenance of the SAP ERP in CPC, LIOC, CPSTL
\nand other business partners and to ensure the smooth operation of the same. To develop specifi c
\nguidelines and principles on which individual technology decisions can be made that are in
\nconformity with technology objectives of the Company. Guide the management toward the
\nutilization of technology as a means to create administrative operating effi ciencies. Design and
\nimplement a long term strategic plan for IT infrastructure, Application, Training and Support.
\nSalary Scale: Rs. 241,390 – 5 x 4,960 : 10 x 5,535 = 321,540\/-

\nThe Company will contribute 15% of the salary towards the EPF whilst the employee will have
\nto contribute 10% for the same. The Company will also contribute 3% of the salary towards the
\nETF. From the date of assumption of duties, the selected candidate will be placed on probation
\nfor a period before being confi rmed in the post.
