Position : Business Development Manager – General Insurance
Your Impactful Role :
As a General Insurance Champion at Ceynergy, you’ll be a key player. Your role involves:
• Creating annual, monthly, and quarterly sales plans for individuals and corporates.
• Creating Collaborating with the core team, meeting ambitious sales goals.
• Collecting vital data from potential clients and the market, maintaining meticulous records.
• Orchestrating meetings with corporate clients, ensuring effective follow-ups.
• Working closely with the technical team through the quote process to secure insurance confirmations.
• Nurturing existing client bonds, managing portfolios, and handling claims.
• Leading recruitment, training, and development of a high-achieving sales team, motivating them to
exceed targets.
Qualifications/Skills You Need :
To shine, you should have :
Over 5 years’ sales and marketing experience in insurance; Brokering firm exposure preferred.
• Strong consideration given to professional qualifications like SLII/CII, SLIM, or CIM.
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Proficiency in English and
Sinhala is vital; Tamil proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to foster positive relations with clients and insurance firms.
• Proficiency in IT, including MS Office, CRM, ERP Systems, and related tools.
• Track record of results-driven performance, meeting and surpassing targets within deadlines.
