Applications will be received from Sri Lankan citizens for the Posts of Joint Secretary and
Treasurer – falling vacant soon and Assistant Secretary and Management Assistant Class
III posts existing vacant at this Association
.Post of Assistant Secretary
Should be a member of the Association and be an Officer either in the Management
Assistant Service or an equivalent service in Class 1 or a Higher Grade.
Experience :
Should have experience in Accounts work and establishment and administrative
matters and have proficiency in Sinhala and English Languages. Having knowledge
in Tamil Language will be an added qualification.
Salaries and other benefits :
Applicants selected for these posts will be entitled to a salary equivalent to the Government
salary scale with an additional allowance of 50% of the monthly consolidated salary,
other Government approved allowances entitled to the permanent post, annual bonus
and payments in lieu of remaining unclaimed leave as decided upon at the Annual
General Meeting of the Association. Also will be entitled to sponsored Season Tickets and
Railway Warrants.
Conditions :
Applications will be received from Officers in either the State Service or Provincial Public
Service for the above posts and recruitments will be done on secondment basis as per the
requirements of the Government, for a period of two years in terms of the Section 148 in
Para 12 of the Procedural Rules.
As this Institution is an incorporated one which functions under the supervision of the
Ministry of Finance, you can submit your application by the Appendix II of the Public
Service Commission Procedural Rules Code.
A certification from the Head of Department agreeing to release the applicant for a period
of two years for the Association’s Service on secondment basis as per the Public Service
Commission Procedural Rules and the Provisions of the Establishment Code of the
Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
Selected applicant should place an amount as a security with the Association as decided
upon by the Management Committee of the Association.
